Best Photo Spots In + Around The Lane

Planning your couple’s portraits on your wedding day can be daunting! You’re hoping for a place that’s meaningful, with great lighting, and not too far from your venue that you’re driving all around town.

Good thing you’re saying your “I Do’s” at The Lane!

Whether you’re looking for those modern cityscape backdrops or more of a timeless, natural setting, The Lane offers you (and your wedding photographer) the ability to get creative and stay sane on your special day.

Surrounded by downtown skyscrapers and across the street from the San Diego bay, you have a plethora of photo opportunities for those timeless moments that you and yours will remember for decades to come.

Views From the Terrace

The Lane is elevated on the second floor of the Marriott Bayfront building. Our couples and their guests gaze upon The Midway, Star of India, Broadway Pier, and cruise ships in the harbor.

The Lane Private Suite

The Lane private suite is your beautiful oasis from the craziness that is your wedding day. Whether you have a first look in here, take a break to share some sweet moments together, or put the finishing touches on your wedding gown and shoes (or roller skates), this fully furnished suite is the cherry on top.

Lane Field Park

The best of both worlds for your couples’ portraits- the city behind you, green landscaping throughout, and the bay across the way.

Our Building

The Lane is in the most ideal location for any local or destination wedding. We share the same building with the Marriott Bayfront and the roundabout with the InterContinental. Many of our couples utilize these hotel rooms for getting-ready photos as well as their concrete, angular buildings as urban backdrops.

Inside The Lane

Ask any wedding photographer and they’ll tell you lighting is one of the most important aspects for capturing spectacular moments. The shadow play and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout The Lane offer unique and documentary-style photos that are sure to show off your style while still remaining timeless.
